I can't, I just have to write you one more time. I have been to Sri Lanka five times, but I have never experienced such service and comfort anywhere as here at Luba. And I've lived in quite good hotels, I think. Pandanus, Aida. I was afraid that we would live far from the sea and my husband would not enjoy it so much, but the opposite is true. Every day a beautiful view of the river, amazing staff who would do the first last thing for us and I'm not even talking about Lub. There are no words to express a big thank you to all of them. Now I know that we will always be happy to come back here and I dare say that more of us will come here for the next season. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with amazing nature, breathtaking views of the mountains, tea and rice plantations, with lots of temples, waterfalls, wildlife and nice beaches, but most of all with smiling, friendly people.
We are really glad that we chose Luba and his team from Luba Tours for our exploration of Sri Lanka.

Luba and his team organise a perfect holiday beginning at the airport. We booked a 16-day stay and a 7-day trip.
Even though our plane arrived at 3 a.m, Luba awaited us in a good mood and smiling, he even gifted us a flower wreath. He planned a day for acclimatization.
Our tour guide for the trip was Baba, who is part of Luba's team.
On the trip we visited many beautiful and interesting places and did exciting things, such as a safari in the second biggest natural park, where we were able to see many local wild animals, or a visit to Sri Dalada Maligawa, Buddha's tooth temple in Kandy. We could also see the biggest tea plantation with a guided tour to a tea factory. Another adventure was the river safari where we could feed monkeys, watch some birds, see crocodiles and so on. On another day, we were able to feed, bathe and even ride elephants, which was awesome.
We travelled through the west, south and middle with the mountains of Sri Lanka. The team planned the tour so that we could visit historical cities and temples, but also see the nature and wild animals. Thanks to them we were able to try out many fruits that we had never seen before.
The guide and driver are very flexible willing to fulfill even extraordinary wishes, like driving us to the Little Adam's Peak at 4 a.m. so we could make photos of and record the sunrise, or wait two hours at the Nine Arches Bridge for a train which was delayed for those two hours. Even if you have a wish that wasn't planned beforehand, they do their best to fulfill it. They also cared about your wellbeing and frequently asked whether you were comfortable and whether you had any open wishes, according to the motto "If you're happy, we're happy".
We travel often, but this was the best service we ever had on any of our previous travels.

Breathtaking Sri Lanka
I would like to thank and recommend the local guide Luba and his entire team for a perfectly planned and organized 5-day trip. We drove almost 1000 km and saw a lot of beautiful places, including Lipton tea fields, breath taking mountain views, temples, safari, cooking traditional lunch with local villagers, and all with professional explanation provided by Luba. Nothing is a problem for Luba, he is willing to help with everything and he is a very nice person. Accommodation and service at Villa Lagoon in Bentota was absolutely amazing, including delicious food. I have visited a lot of countries but Sri Lanka exceeded my expectations. The whole island has incredibly rich fauna and flora with so much to see and do. People are very friendly and welcoming and I felt safe the entire time.

Today is exactly one month since we returned home from our trip to beautiful Sri Lanka. We thought it would be nice to write a review at a distance, after comparing all thoughts, absorbing experiences, etc.
We went to SL on our own, the only things we had arranged were the plane tickets and the services of Luba and his team for the first three days of the holiday. To begin with, it was the best decision for our start, Luba helped us with everything - from accommodation, transfer from the airport, trips, shopping, money exchange, obtaining SIM cards, to transfer to another accommodation. Our vacation continued solo, but during our month-long stay, we agreed with Luba and his team on another trip inland - again, transfers, accommodation, trips, unplanned tours of unusual tourist spots, unique places (Kandy fire station) and maybe even getting antibiotics for sore ears.
All the time, you could see how much Luba cares about his guests, nothing was a problem, he fulfilled and complied with what was in his power and what he saw in front of our eyes, and at the same time he himself demanded the quality of services that he negotiated with the local people just for our band .
Don't read or listen to the news on TV, SL is a safe country and if you have a good guide with whom you can communicate well, even if you don't know much English, there's nothing to worry about! You and Luba will get along perfectly in our way.

The best holiday with Luba Tours

Great vacation!
Tonight we are flying back to the Czech Republic from Sri Lanka. Thanks to Lub, we had a beautiful ten days full of relaxation and experiences that we will remember for a long time. Perfect services, amazing people, beautiful country
Today we have departure from Sri Lanka finishing our wonderful journey in this beautiful country.
Our experience with Sri Lanka’s actual situation:
First of all, as tourists we had absolutely no problem with accommodation, food, transportation or any other services. Before arriving we were afraid of inconvenience that could occur here according to news but we had all we needed and much more.
Things are even getting better here. When we came 10 days ago there were some electricity blackouts for few hours during a day - which was just little inconvenience that I personally didn’t mind at all. However, during past few days we didn’t even notice any blackouts.
Experience with Luba:
I have the urge to say that I can’t imagine any better tourist guide than Luba who is also a good friend and someone who really cares about your comfort and experience. He is very flexible and willing to adapt every aspect of the trip for your needs.
Luba has a lot of friends and contacts so he can provide you special experience and services.
I admire his true love for his country and that he engages local people to our journey so it is profitable and valuable for all of us.
I believe that Luba’s tours have perfect balance for time spent with Sri Lanka’s nature, history, culture and experiencing ordinary life with locals. Also you have enough time to just relax by the swimming pool or at the private beach enjoying view at the Indian Ocean.

The best holiday in Sri Lanka - only with Luba
Luba and I were in Sri Lanka already in 2017 and we had so many wonderful experiences that we decided to return here after 5 years. Luba is the best guide you could ask for. All he cares about is that you feel good, you were calm and satisfied, and he wants to show you Sri Lanka as it really is. Every wish you even briefly mention will come true. He will never tell you 'unfortunately it's not possible / it's too demanding / it doesn't fit into our plan'. Whatever you want, he will gladly arrange for you and will try to make you enjoy your vacation as much as possible.
Now everywhere in the news it is written that there are protests in Sri Lanka and that there is a lack of food and medicine etc. from our experience I can say that we have not registered any protests. Likewise, there is plenty of food and everything. The only thing we noticed - gasoline is rationed. But since tourism is the biggest source of income for Sri Lanka (especially now), tourists with a certified guide (Lubou) get gas preferentially. The hotels are fully stocked with food and every evening they prepared anything we could think of. Everything was excellent and dinner always consisted of several courses - starter, soup, main course and dessert. Everything excellent.
The power still goes out here sometimes, but that's about once every two days for half an hour and everyone here is already ready for that - nothing that can't be handled...
According to all the news in the Czech Republic, we were quite afraid to go to Sri Lanka with our family. But what is in the news is not entirely true. Luba is a friend of ours and we were counting on the fact that if things were really as bad here as they show in the news, he would definitely let us know and tell us not to go.
In short - it was really great here, I hope that someday we will be able to see Sri Lanka with Luba for the 3rd time. If you are wondering if you should go or return the tickets.. the answer is clear! The situation here is completely calm and you and Luba will have a great time here!

Five years ago, my family and I went on the vacation of our dreams, to Sri Lanka. We took a little risk and based on the reviews, instead of a tour organized by a travel agency, we chose a vacation with a local guide Luba.
We bought plane tickets and hoped that everything would go well and that someone would be waiting for us in Colombo. After getting off the plane, there was a moment of surprise, and then Luba welcomed us personally, garlanded each of us with purple flowers, dragged our luggage to the car with the driver and loaded them together with us into a comfortable air-conditioned car.
A stone fell from our hearts that we are taken care of.

If you have tourists in your car, you have priority right to draw diesel from state sources without queues.
There are no riots or violence, no shortage of food, etc., as falsely presented in our media.
The protests are only happening in one place in Colombo and there is nothing there for tourists anyway.

It has been more than a week since we returned from our vacation in Sri Lanka and we are still full of impressions and experiences from our travels around this wonderful island, which is full of amazingly friendly and welcoming people.
And for all this, I want to thank Luba Sujith, who arranged everything from a to z, including the birthday party. He took us through temples, to beautiful waterfalls, through mountains and tea plantations. He was simply a great guide, partner, and maybe I can even write that as a friend. I can still hear his "Pítr, Sri Lanka no problem". My husband and friends have returned from a holiday in Sri Lanka. It was a wonderful vacation full of experiences.
We saw beautiful temples, beautiful nature, beautiful animals and drove through a piece of enchanting land.

An unforgettable honeymoon with lots of amazing experiences, that's how we would rate our 13-day stay in Sri Lanka. We saw beautiful temples, enchanting nature, animals very close, dined by candlelight in beautiful hotels and drove a piece of this wonderful country.
It is up to you what you want to experience in Sri Lanka, guide Luba and his team will arrange everything. You don't even have to worry about not knowing the language, Luba can handle Czech as well.
The trips are perfectly planned, everything connects beautifully. Luba and his team try to make sure you enjoy your vacation exactly as you imagined. It is important for them that you are always satisfied according to the motto "Sri Lanka no problem".

We are in the last days of our vacation in Sri Lanka and all I have to say is THANK YOU!!! For the most beautiful vacation, for very nice and cheerful people, for trips to beautiful nature, for unique experiences. Of course, the biggest thanks goes to Lub, who always took care of us, took us to temples, mountains and accompanied us on our travels with a smile. PS: Who else would be on the fence about whether to go or not... definitely go! Yes, there are protests in Sri Lanka, but they are mild and do not affect tourists in any way. (At most the electricity was turned off for 2-3 hours a day, which doesn't matter at all when there is so much beauty around). Go for experiences and let an expert guide you!

I met Luba 15 years ago when I visited Sri Lanka with my parents. Coming back this year with my wife, we have to say he's the guy you want. We had an amazing time and I'm sure it was the best vacation I've ever been on.
He organized a 20 day trip for us with 11 days sightseeing, the rest we spent on a beautiful beach near our hotel.
The trip was perfectly organized, reorganized if necessary - be it the weather or local holidays. We saw everything we wanted and many things we didn't know we wanted until Luba showed them to us. Everything is possible with him! Along with the rest of the team, he's super cheerful and friendly, so it's a pleasure to travel with him.

A great vacation with Sri Lanka trips with Luba without CK was worth the repair for every euro. Amazing food, nature, accommodation, service and perfect organization. When we were choosing a vacation. I was a little afraid to go without CK etc. But as soon as I landed in Colombo and I found out... how very nice and great people from the Luby party are... my fears disappeared. Really amazing vacation!! I RECOMMEND it to everyone

We returned from a wonderful holiday. We have never encountered such willingness, cordiality. Accommodation in a family environment, friendly staff who were always nearby and provided what we needed (we even needed a doctor, he came immediately, free of charge) They willingly took us on shopping, beach, trips. You can speak English, Russian, German and what is the main part of Czech, which everyone in the resort is trying to learn. Very good food, clean rooms.
Nice smiling guys who like to sit with you are talking. They even organized two great birthday parties for us, which we had with a friend during our stay.
Trips great in beautiful hotels. Everything is well planned. Sri Lanka is beautiful and the people are nice. Even for families with children.

Yesterday we returned with a three week amazing vacation. All nice, friendly with an unprecedented willingness to meet everything you need Great accommodation, food. Trips planned to the fullest so that we can see the best and most beautiful of Sri Lanka. Even as a fisherman, I enjoyed it here. Night fishing on the river, on request also at sea. Luba provided us with rods all the time just for us. Incredible relaxation with great guys from the resort who liked to talk to us. They took us as a family and we take them that way today.

Today, Luba and I ended a six-day trip to Sri Lanka. I have to praise him because he provided us with perfect service, starting with luxury minivan transport, accommodation and meals. We were in Sri Lanka and Luba for the second time. This time with our youngest four-year-old daughter (2 adults and 4 children) and we all enjoyed it very much. Accommodation in a beautiful, quiet environment, excellent cuisine, perfectly organized trips and amazing people that we will probably never forget. A wonderful holiday and wonderful holiday experiences in Sri Lanka thanks to Lub and his team. Luba is a wonderful guide and man. I had the feeling that his unspoken wish was already fulfilled. Hooray we can do it again !!!
On Sunday 3.10. In 2021 we returned from a 14-day vacation in Sri Lanka. Despite the initial concerns, everything went perfectly well and to our satisfaction. Sri Lanka is our favorite country and we were here for the fourth time. The coronavirus period is terrible for all people and we couldn't wait for a year and we will go somewhere three quarters. And it was just in Sri Lanka again.
We were a little worried about how we could handle it all, but completely useless. Their measures often surpass those in the Czech Republic and they are really honest in this.
We stayed in a hotel (bungalows) near Bentota right on the beach. It was almost deserted, you could say that it was private for several kilometers. The water was beautifully clean and warm as coffee.
We took several trips around this beautiful country (2x and two-day). As always, Luba and his people were our perfect guides. They did their best, arranged the almost impossible, so that we could enjoy everything 100%. We saw a lot, we experienced something new and exceptional again and we just didn't like to go back to the Czech Republic.
We think the fears are out of place and we will go to Sri Lanka again as soon as we can. This country has something to offer everyone, the people here are wonderful and most importantly they need and deserve our help. Sri Lanka without tourists is like a fish without water !!! So if you are thinking about going somewhere, Sri Lanka is definitely a great choice. Do not hesitate! We promise that you will definitely have something to remember when the weather is bad and inclement.

We travel repeatedly and we know that we have a good friend Luba, who always has something to offer us and arranges beautiful trips and transport to the airport and back.
Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and for us Europeans full of differences, which I always like to discover :-) I Driving from A to B is an experience here. That is, if you do not have to drive yourself ;-)
Personally, I like to travel inland, for example around Adam's Mountain, where you drive along the contours of the hills covered with tea plantations.
Luba travels with us as a guide on all trips, whether it is a week-round tour or day trips.
He knows everything about Sri Lanka and likes to show us interesting things on the road and answer our questions. He is very friendly and is a good travel companion :-)
Entry into Sri Lanka is easier from October. Regarding the covid measure, all you need is a printed Czech pcr test not older than 72 hours. So if it is negative :-D
The advantage is to be vaccinated, you do not have to be quarantined upon arrival. We were here in September, when the conditions for entry were more difficult, but they were also manageable.
We flew with Qatar Airways this year and we can only recommend - comfortable travel by larger planes with good service.
If you are thinking about where to go and you have two weeks, please do not hesitate!

There were 16 of us, Hasara Resort Bentota, term 08.03.2020 to 22.03.2020, Emirates airlines.
For all the superlatives from the other clerks, see below, I can only sign and I know the remaining 15 members of our expedition.
Everything perfectly organized (we had our bus) and planned. Luba, Paja and the other staff have it all figured out.
For example, when covid hysteria began at the end, they closed an elephant farm. Luba immediately arranged 3 working elephants and it was even better, rides on them, we bathed them in the river and they rewarded us with a trunk for a reward (just the one who wanted to).
We were completely alone on the beach the last few days, 16 of us were 14 people from the restaurant and the beach bar, the beer was perfectly chilled, the food was great.
The last day must have been a tuktuk in which they took us to the beach covered with sails :)
Luba speaks Czech so that you will understand everything. Food at the resort very good, hotness adapted to our customs.
Rooms clean, spacious with a small balcony, air conditioning quiet and functional, warm water of course.
